The history of our family campsite

The story of our campsite began in 1975, when Martine and Louis, the founders and lovers of nature and sharing, decided to open a small family campsite in the heart of the Auvergne at Loubeyrat. At the time, only a few pitches were available for tents and caravans, in a simple and friendly spirit, faithful to the values of the campsite of yesteryear.
From the very first years, word of mouth has been spreading: holidaymakers appreciate the warm welcome, the family atmosphere and the tranquility of the site.
Over the 1980s and 1990s, the campsite evolved while retaining its soul. New pitches were created, sanitary facilities were modernized and the first chalets and bungalows appeared to meet the expectations of a tourism industry in full transformation. Every improvement was carefully thought out, always with respect for the environment and the well-being of our guests.
In 2017, a new generation took up the torch. Faithful to the spirit passed on by the founders, they continue to develop the campsite: improving infrastructures, creating a reception and snack bar, highlighting the local heritage and strengthening the ecological commitment.
Today, almost 50 years after its creation, our campsite is proud to welcome families who have been coming for generations. Some campers return every summer, having become friends over the years. This human bond, forged since 1975, remains our greatest asset.
More than just a vacation destination, our campsite is a story of family, encounters and shared memories, which we continue to write with passion every season.
